Status of room bookings at Marriott:

  • Sinead is keeping our £109 rate open, with no closing date but she will start to free rooms up in a couple of weeks.
  • Breakfast is included and is said to be brilliant.

  • Travelodge Cardiff Central, St. Mary Street: 08719 848484: 1 minute walk from Marriott.  Rooms currently £45.  No breakfast.

Cocktail Reception

  • This will take place in the exhibition room for about an hour from 5.30pm
  • A selection of soft drinks and a range of alcoholic beverages will be offered (no cost to drinkers)

Getting to Cardiff

  • Cardiff has an airport
  • Cardiff Central railway station is about 5 minutes from the Marriott and is well served nationally, with frequent trains from Paddington.
  • Journey time is 2 and a bit hours.

Tour of Cardiff Met on Thursday 9 March

  • Meeting will be at the main Cardiff Met campus and will be fully escorted, possibly in 2 groups if response is strong.
  • Overall timing 9.30am to 12.00pm with an optional light lunch then.
  • Coffee etc. will be provided as well.
